What does your company do?
We are a studio specialising in dubplate cutting and other online mastering services.

What do you use nBill for?
I use nBill to receive orders in the front end and also to create invoices for people in a more proactive way in the back end, so if I am chasing the business I can back it up with professional looking invoices that are easy to settle up. It also lets me keep track of payments, and I can generate sales figures and reports really easily - if I want to know the turnover from 2007-2008 nBill can do it for me in an instant, and even break it down by individual product type using the ledger report.

I also use it to print off invoices to use as waybills, so each online transaction also gets converted into paper form for the client to keep as reference. The client front end is also very useful, it allows people to log in and check their past and present orders and invoices, and also to change their shipping details. It also has an excellent backup function that lets me store not only the nBill database but all the tables for my site so I know the information is always safe.

What were you doing before you started using nBill?
I was using paypal's "buy now" links which were fine at first, but soon became unwieldy and were not versatile enough

What difference has nBill made to you?
nBill has made a huge difference to my workflow. I can get on with my job and not worry so much about administering orders. It has given the website the wow factor that is missing from so many other studio websites.  I love the back end functions because I can set up an order, generate an invoice and send it off to the client via email in a matter of seconds, and when they receive it, payment is just a click away. Superb!

Why did you choose nBill over other products?
The reason I chose it over other components was its ability to produce professional invoices for the more complex jobs I take on. Its a perfect marriage of a website ordering system, and an invoicing system, so I can let the client order in their own time on the site, or I can carry out the more delicate and complex sales in a professional manner manually, and I can keep track of all the jobs in one place. When trying to organise 15-20 complex projects every week, nBill basically does what I need it to do and tells me what I need to know.

Any other comments?
People love the front end ordering system because "it just works", they can select the number of dubs they want, when they want them, how they want to pay and in what currency. The system then applies the relevant discounts, calculates the shipping and then takes the payment. I can also add any number of checkboxes, dropdowns and comment boxes, creating a totally unique and ultimately customisable ordering experience, so clients feel their project is being handled professionally.

There are so many features, and most of the time its pretty easy to figure them out, but whenever I am not sure help is always on hand - the support really is EXCEPTIONAL - not long after using nBill I switched hosting providers to Netshine too, and I recommend them to everyone who asks.
