If you want to brand nBill as your own product to provide seamless integration into your own hosted service (using either Joomla! or Wordpress), you can purchase a branding file. A custom branding file costs £10 + VAT per year. You may also wish to replace the default nBill logo and icon image files with your own (/components/com_nbill/images/icons/large/logo_full_small.gif and /components/com_nbill/logo-icon-16x25.png).
Even though using a custom branding file allows you to portray nBill as your own product, it does NOT allow you access to the full source code, and it does not affect the copyright which still belongs to Netshine Software Limited (a copyright attribution remains in place in the Help->About box even when using a branding file). Purchasing a branding file does not make you an authorised reseller, nor give you any additional rights. The nBill end user license agreement
still applies. License keys still have to be purchased through nbill.co.uk (but you can do this on behalf of your customers if you wish). HTML source may still contain references to nBill (eg. CSS class names and images).
When you have paid for a branding file, the file (named 'branding_custom.php') will be automatically e-mailed to you. To implement the custom branding, you will need to add this file to the /administrator/components/com_nbill folder in your website (replacing the existing file of the same name). If you want to change any of the details after purchase you can edit that file. There are also some additional settings in the file that are not specified here which you can change if required.Custom branding files will only apply to the core product (not to any plugins, modules, or nBill extensions). However, all other items are open source anyway so can already be rebranded.
Custom branding files work on both Joomla! and Wordpress.
